How do I setup the site to track whether volunteers have received training?

You must be a site admin in order to configure volunteer training management.

  1. Login as a site admin
  2. Go to Volunteering/Configure Volunteer Training

On the Configure Volunteer Training page, you can:

  • Indicate whether or not volunteer training is required
  • If required, you can:
  • Enter a name you use to refer to the training
  • Enter the period for which the training is valid (from 6 months to 5 years)
  • Enter a message that will be sent to anyone signing up for a volunteer opportunity that has not received training
